Refund & Returns Policy

This Refund & Returns Policy applies to purchases from Collectable Arms, LLC (“we,” “us,” “our“). By placing an order, you agree to the terms of this policy.

1. General Policy

Due to the highly regulated nature of firearms and ammunition, and the specific compliance requirements involved in their sale and transfer, our return and refund policies differ based on product category. Please review the applicable section below carefully before making a purchase.

2. Firearms, Frames, Receivers & Suppressors

Final Sale Policy

All sales of firearms, frames, receivers, and suppressors are FINAL once the transfer is completed and you have taken physical possession. No refunds, returns, or exchanges will be accepted after transfer and possession.

Failed Background Check or Eligibility Denial

If you are unable to complete the transfer because you fail the required background check (NICS denial or state equivalent) or otherwise do not meet legal eligibility requirements:

  • The firearm purchase price will be refunded to your original payment method.

  • The following fees are NON-REFUNDABLE: Transfer fees, FFL fees, shipping charges, handling fees, and any other associated costs.

  • Refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days of confirmation of the denial or failed transfer.

Order Cancellation by Buyer (Prior to Shipment)

If you request cancellation of a firearms order before the item has shipped from our distributor:

  • We will make reasonable efforts to cancel the order.

  • If successfully cancelled, you will receive a refund of the purchase price, less a 10% restocking/cancellation fee.

  • If the item has already shipped, cancellation is not possible and the standard policies apply.

Manufacturer Defects

Firearms are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, not a warranty from Collectable Arms, LLC.

  • Within 30 Days of Transfer: If you discover a manufacturer defect within 30 days of taking possession, contact us at collectablearms@gmail.com. We will assist you in initiating a warranty claim with the manufacturer and will cover reasonable shipping and insurance costs to send the firearm to the manufacturer or authorized repair facility.

  • After 30 Days: After 30 days from transfer, you remain covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, but all shipping, insurance, and related costs are your responsibility. Contact the manufacturer directly or reach out to us for guidance.

Note: Damage caused by misuse, neglect, unauthorized modifications, or normal wear and tear is not covered under manufacturer warranties.

3. Ammunition

All sales of ammunition are FINAL. No refunds, returns, or exchanges will be accepted for ammunition purchases.

This policy exists due to safety concerns and the inability to verify the condition or handling of ammunition after it leaves our possession.

Exception: If you receive ammunition that is visibly damaged upon delivery (e.g., crushed packaging, obvious defects), contact us within 48 hours of receipt with photographs of the damage. We will evaluate and, at our discretion, issue a replacement or store credit.

4. Non-Firearm Items (Accessories, Gear, Apparel, Parts)

Eligibility for Return

Non-firearm items may be eligible for return if ALL of the following conditions are met:

  • The item is in unopened, original, factory-sealed packaging;

  • The return request is submitted within seven (7) days of receipt;

  • The item is not designated as a final sale or non-returnable item;

  • The item is not a special order or custom item.

Return Process

  1. Contact us at collectablearms@gmail.com with your order number, item(s) to be returned, and reason for return.

  2. Wait for return authorization. Do not ship items back without prior authorization.

  3. Upon approval, ship the item(s) to the address we provide at your expense. We recommend using a trackable shipping method.

  4. Once received and inspected, we will issue store credit (no cash refunds) within 5 business days.

Restocking Fee

A 10% restocking fee will be deducted from the store credit amount for all approved returns.

Items NOT Eligible for Return

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Opened or used items

  • Items returned after 7 days from receipt

  • Items marked as “Final Sale” or “Non-Returnable”

  • Special orders or custom items

  • Items damaged due to customer misuse or negligence

  • Gift cards

5. Damaged or Incorrect Shipments

Damaged Items

If you receive a non-firearm item that was damaged during shipping:

  1. Document the damage with photographs before discarding any packaging.

  2. Contact us within 48 hours of receipt at collectablearms@gmail.com.

  3. Include your order number and photographs of the damaged item and packaging.

We will work with the carrier to file a claim and, at our discretion, issue a replacement or store credit.

Incorrect Items

If you receive an item different from what you ordered:

  1. Contact us within 7 days of receipt at collectablearms@gmail.com.

  2. Do not open or use the incorrect item.

  3. We will provide instructions for return and ship the correct item or issue appropriate credit.

6. Order Cancellations by Collectable Arms, LLC

We reserve the right to cancel any order prior to transfer or shipment for reasons including, but not limited to:

  • Inventory unavailability

  • Pricing errors or Website errors

  • Suspected fraud or suspicious activity

  • Compliance or eligibility concerns

  • Items prohibited in your jurisdiction

If we cancel your order, you will receive a full refund of the purchase price for the cancelled item(s) to your original payment method. We are not liable for any inconvenience, costs, or damages resulting from order cancellation.

7. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be credited to your original payment method within 7–10 business days of approval.

  • Depending on your financial institution, it may take an additional 3–5 business days for the credit to appear on your statement.

  • Store credits do not expire and may be used for any future purchase.
